The Executive Secretary of CENSAD, His Excellency Ambassador Ado ELHADJI ABOU<\/em><\/strong> received a visit from Mrs.<\/em><\/strong> Francisca Tatchouop Belobe<\/em><\/strong>African Union Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Minerals (ETTIM), on the sidelines of her participation in the Mining and Hydrocarbons Forum (SEMICA) from January 21-23, 2026 in N’Djam\u00e9na.<\/p>\n\n

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the importance of the African Minerals Development Centre, and to advocate ratification of the Centre’s statutes with a view to their entry into force.<\/p>\n\n
